Our unmistakable Main Bar, rich in character & where all our main events & shows take place, a dance floor & stage area under our domed ballroom ceiling allow everyone to dance & groove the days/nights away.

The Naval & Military Social Club was formed in 1920 by veterans of the First World War, as a place to socialise and support each other following their experiences in the 'Great War' but as the years have passed those original members are no longer with us. However their values of mutual support in a friendly atmosphere still form one of the principles that underlies the running of this Club.

We are located at No 20 Royal Terrace, overlooking the estuary and just along from the junction of Southend High Street and Pier Hill, heading towards Westcliff.
