REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY - 8th November 2026

Preparations are under way for REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY (8th November 2026).
The club will be open from 9.00am for anyone wishing to pop in for a warming drink before going to Southend's Annual Act of Remembrance at the Cliffs Cenotaph.
Once the Remembrance Day parade concludes, come back to the club for a warm welcome, tasty food and friendly faces.
LORRAINE'S KITCHEN will be open until 3.00pm but please note: Lorraine will NOT be serving roast lunches on this day.
There will be LIVE MUSIC between 1.00pm and 4.00pm, from the popular jazz trio, HARVEST MOON.
Entry is free. Everyone is welcome. So come and join us in keeping the spirit of community alive.
Club membership is not required but receive 10% discount on selected bar products if you join.
AND DON'T FORGET, we are now able to offer BLUE LIGHT CARD MEMBERS and DEFENCE CARD HOLDERS a discount on drinks purchased. On production of a CURRENT Blue Light Card or Defence Card, together with PROOF OF IDENTITY, we will be pleased to offer you drinks at members' prices.
